Hornet golfers continue hot streak

The Wellsboro Golf team continued their winning streak as they picked up their third first place finish of the season, and their second of the week, as they held on to top Towanda at River Valley Country Club yesterday afternoon.
Junior Zach Bower led the way with an 86 followed by Junior Dillan King (90), Sophomore Brett Kendrick (91), Junior Blair Carson (93), Junior Josh Pifer (101) and Senior Josh Cooper (109).

With the first place finish, Wellsboro is now 18-0 (18-0 NTL) on the year. The team will be back in action on Monday, September 3, as they travel to Corey Creek in Mansfield, PA.
